about ondo
a warm room, on purpose.
Ondo is a neighbourhood café in Kothanur, Bengaluru: good coffee from 9 am, and a room where neighbours meet, learn something and make things together.
The coffee is good. The people are the point. Opening December 2026.
what ondo means.
온도 (ondo) is Korean for temperature. We read it as warmth: the temperature of a room where people know each other. In Bengaluru we write it ಆಂಡೋ too.
every block means something.
Our mark is a terracotta jaali, the brick screen you find in old Bangalore houses. It lets light and air through and still holds a wall up. We cut what Ondo is for into its blocks, with a cup of coffee in the middle.

who runs it.
Ondo is run by Third Space Ventures. We host the first four Curious Saturdays ourselves; after that, the neighbourhood teaches.
Once Ondo has paid back what it cost to build, a tenth of every year's profit goes to supporting the underprivileged, and we'll publish what we gave.
