- What is Ondo?
- A neighbourhood café in Kothanur, Bengaluru: good coffee, and a room where neighbours meet, learn something and make things together.
- When do you open?
- Opening December 2026, every day from 9 am. Opening week is by invitation, so join the neighbours' list to get a slot.
- Where are you?
- DBC Arcade, #12, Doddagubbi Main Road, Kyalasanahalli, Kothanur, Bengaluru 560077. See Visit for the map.
- Do you serve filter coffee?
- No. We make espresso drinks from AAA-grade beans, plus teas and hot chocolate.
- Is there food?
- Cakes and cookies from local bakers. We aren't a meals place.
- Do you have memberships, subscriptions or a coffee card?
- Not in our first year. Just come in.
- What is a Curious Saturday?
- One talk or hands-on session on a Saturday evening, about 20 seats, ₹299 with a drink (including GST). The first four start in January. Dates go to the neighbours' list a week before anyone else.
- Can kids come?
- Yes. Weekday mornings are for parents, grandparents and little ones, with a corner to play, books at their height and Little Makers sessions with a grown-up.
- How big is it?
- Thirty seats, a long table, a book wall and a baithak that becomes a stage for talks.
- Can I teach something?
- Yes. We host the first four Saturdays; after that, neighbours do. Tell us what you'd teach and we'll handle the room, the coffee and the tickets.
- Will you rush me?
- No. Stay for an hour or the afternoon; no one clears your table to turn it.
